Soffits, fascias and Guttering

At Surrey Design and Build we only offer a full removal, inspection and replacement service.

We will totally remove your existing wooden fascias, barge board, soffits, guttering and replace it with new zero maintenance UPVC.

At the same time we install over fascia venting which brings the roof ventilation up to current building standards and keeps your soffits looking great in years to come. A felt tray is added to slide under your existing felt to ensure that no water can pass through if it starts to recede from the roofline. A solid foam filled fascia and soffit board is used (not hollow) for extreme durability.
(These are high standards which some companies choose not to match.)

We only use stainless steel screws to attach the roofline This ensures that you have no brown stains running from the screws on the white fascias.. If needed we will cut away any damp wood on the ends of your roof beams and replace with new treated timber (AT NO CHARGE). We seal the soffit to your property with specially designed silicone sealant to stop insects from gaining access.

Reverging

Where necessary we will reverge the mortar seal between the roof tiles and the barge boards. For small amounts we will include this in the price quoted. However, if on survey it is apparent that reverging will be required it will be quoted separately. Alternatively, if reverging becomes a requirement due to latent faults revealed during fitting, we may charge additionally for this service.
