Conservatory Roofs
We will advise you on the optimum choice of roof material
to suit the style and aspect of your conservatory.
As this is an important aesthetic and performance based decision
some further information is detailed below;
- Ultraframe 25mm polycarbonate in clear, bronze,
opal or combination. Although generally the most cost effective
option these roofs are opaque and though offering greater
privacy in situations where neighbours may overlook, they
would not suit the star gazer!
- Pilkington 'K' Glass or equivalent. Normally the
recommended roof material this offers better sound and heat
insulation, is easier to keep clean and will enhance the
appearance of your conservatory.
- K2 Performance Glass. In south facing conservatories
K2 Glass is recommended for the roof, and in some cases,
the side windows. This will greatly reduce heat and glare
from the sun and often saves the cost of expensive blinds.
K2 has a special easyclean coating to repel dirt and stains.
Please ask for a demonstration.
- Vents are recommended in all south-facing roofs.
